One yearly salary, shown every way you'll see it: hourly, daily, weekly, every two weeks, and monthly. So the number in the offer letter and the number on the pay stub finally match up.

Salary ÷ 2,080 hours for the hourly figure, ÷ 260 working days for daily, ÷ 52 for weekly, ÷ 26 for every two weeks, and ÷ 12 for monthly. These are gross figures, before taxes. If you're paid twice a month rather than every two weeks, you get 24 checks a year instead of 26, so each one is slightly larger.
• Checking that your pay stub matches the salary you agreed to.
• Turning a yearly raise into what you'll actually see each check.
• Comparing a salaried offer to an hourly one on equal terms.
The conversion is easy. The harder question is whether the salary itself is right for your role and state. Two minutes, free.
